Valentine Schmalentine. Also, yay love!
Long-time friends and creative collaborators Catherine MacLellan and Tanya Davis are putting on two special shows at The Pourhouse, presented by Trailside, February 14th and 15th. Smitten: A Winter Revue will see solo sets, new collaborations, and special guests.
Smitten is Davis’ first show since moving back to PEI this winter. She brings with her a fresh collection of poems, the fervour of a new life chapter, and her ever-unique perspective on it all. Juno award-winning Island legend Catherine MacLellan will be fresh from an Australian tour and with a recent release in hand. Coyote is Catherine’s 7th studio album, a warm and polished effort that showcases her maturity and scope as a songwriter and recording artist.
Come out for songs and poems and stories and jokes. Come to sit amidst friends and strangers, come to get out of your house. It’s February, and everybody is talking about love or weather. Let’s talk about these things together!
